Data handling activities 

As the data controller in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), MicroWISE handles your data in relation to the following activities. 

Website visits 

When you visit our website, we use cookies to improve your user experience. 

Communication with potential customers 

When you have questions for us or wish to learn more about our products or services, you can contact us via: 

  • The contact form 
  • Email 
  • Phone 

    When you do so, we will handle your personal data in order to, for example, answer your questions about our products. We only use the information you provide in this context for this communication. 

    We will typically collect, store and use the following common information about you: name, email, phone number. 

    Our authorisation to handle this information is described in GDPR article 6 1. f. 

    We will delete our communication with you if you express that you would like us to do so. 

    Customers 

    We need to communicate with our customers in order to ensure the successful delivery of equipment and provide support. In this context, we can handle information such as name, address, services, special agreements, payment information and similar.  

    The basis for handling this information is provided in GDPR article 6 1. b. 

    We will delete our communication with you if you express that you would like us to do so. 

    Accounting 

    We must store all financial statements cf. the Danish Bookkeeping Act. This means we save invoices and similar for our accounting. In these, common personal information may include name, address and service descriptions. 

    The basis for handling this information for accounting is provided in GDPR article 6 1. c. 

    We save this data for a minimum of 5 years after the financial year (at the time of purchase) is over.  

    Job applications

    We are happy to receive job applications with the goal of judging whether candidates match the hiring needs of our company. 

    If you send your job application to us, the basis for handling your personal information is provided in GDPR article 6 1. f.  

    If you have sent an unsolicited application, we will judge as soon as possible whether your application is relevant and if it is not, we will delete your information.  

    If you have sent an application to a posted job, we will delete your application information if you are not hired, soon after the right applicant has been found for the job. 

    If you are hired for a job, we will give you separate information about how we handle your personal information in this context.  

    Data handlers 

    Few can create advanced equipment alone and we’re no exception. We have developmental partners and suppliers, and some of these will handle data. 

    External suppliers can for example provide parts needed for making our equipment, provide organisational systems, services, consultations or marketing initiatives. 

    It is our responsibility to ensure that your personal data is handled properly. We therefore require our partners to guarantee your personal data’s protection. We have agreements with companies who handle personal data on our behalf in order to increase the security of your personal data. 

    Sharing of personal data 

    We do not share your personal data to third parties. 

    Profiling and automated decision-making 

    We do not perform profiling or make fully automated decisions. 

    Third-country transfers 

    We, as a rule, have data handlers in the EU/EØS, or they keep data within EU/EØS.  

    In some cases, this may not be possible, in which data handlers outside the EU/EØS will only be used if they can provide an appropriate level of data protection. 

    Safety of data handling 

    We keep the handling of personal data secure by putting in place appropriate technical and organizational measures. 

    We have performed a risk analysis of our handling of your personal information, and thereafter put into place appropriate technical and organizational measures to increase security. 

    The rights of the registered 

    You have, according to GDPR, the following rights with regards to our handling of data pertaining to you. If you would like to exercise these rights, contact us and we will help you with this. 

    Right to see information (right of access) 

    You have the right to access information we handle about you, in addition to some related information. 

    Right to correction 

    You have the right to have incorrect information about you amended. 

    Right to deletion 

    In some cases, you have the right to have information about you deleted before the normal time before deletion has passed. 

    Right to limitations on handling 

    In some cases, you have the right to have the handling of your data limited. If you exercise this right, we may only handle information – with the exception of storage – with your consent, or with the goal of establishing legal claims or to protect a person or important public interests. 

    Right to objection 

    In some cases, you have the right to object to our legal handling of your personal information. You can for example object to our handling your data to perform direct marketing. 

    Right to share information (data portability) 

    In some cases, you have the right to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format, as well as sharing these personal data from one data handler to another without obstacle. 

    Retracting consent 

    Since our handling of your personal information is based on your consent, you have the right to retract that consent. 

    Complaint to the Danish Data Protection Authority 

    You have the right to make a complaint to the Danish Data Protection Authority, if you are dissatisfied with the way we handle your personal information. You will find their contact information atwww.datatilsynet.dk
